О Китае
Как не ошибиться с жильём в Китае: отели, гостевые дома и хостелы
Restrictions for Foreign Guests
Not all accommodation accepts foreign guests. By law, properties hosting foreigners must report to the police system. International chains and major domestic chains are all equipped to do so; some small B&Bs and family guesthouses are not — always confirm before booking.
Booking Platforms
Ctrip (Trip.com) has a filter for “accepts foreign guests” — most convenient. Hotels on Booking.com and Agoda in China are generally qualified. For Airbnb China, confirm with each host whether they can complete foreigner registration.
Selection Tips
- First visit: Choose international chains for guaranteed English service
- Ancient towns/scenic areas: Book 2–4 weeks ahead — peak season sells out fast
- Extended stays (7+ days): Use Ctrip’s “long-stay deals” or negotiate directly with the hotel for 20–30% savings
